The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas held the SDGs Annual Conference (SAC) 2024 under the theme "Innovation Towards a Golden Indonesia: The Interconnection of Quality Education, Employment, and Green Industry," on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta.

During the event, the City of Surabaya was awarded the highest ranking in the I-SIM for Cities 2024. This third annual event was organized through a collaboration between PT Surveyor Indonesia and the Association of Indonesian Municipalities (APEKSI) under the supervision of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas and the Ministry of Home Affairs. The competition involved 76 cities across Indonesia, with Surabaya, Tangerang, and Tebing Tinggi taking the first, second, and third positions, respectively.

Sandry Pasambuna, the President Director of PT Surveyor Indonesia, congratulated the winners for their exceptional commitment and creativity. He encouraged continued innovation in various sectors by strengthening multi-stakeholder collaboration to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs in Indonesia, positioning these cities as key drivers in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
