PT Surveyor Indonesia sent humanitarian aid to the victims of the 6.1 magnitude earthquake in West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra.
The assistance was handed over to the Head of Section and Head of General Staff of PT Surveyor Indonesia Pekanbaru Branch Office, Agung Senoputro, to the West Sumatra SOE Task Force and the Regional Secretary of Pasaman Regency, Djoko Rifanto.
Head of Section and Head of General Staff of PT Surveyor Indonesia Pekanbaru Branch Office, Agung Senoputro, said that the assistance provided by the company is expected to be able to alleviate the needs of the victims so that they can quickly recover and rise from the disaster that befell them.
"We provide humanitarian assistance and other household necessities to disaster victims," Agung said in his statement, Monday (7/3/2022).
Agung explained that the assistance provided was in the form of blankets, mattresses, mineral water, instant noodles, biscuits, eucalyptus oil, sanitary napkins, diapers, and medicines.
"This activity is also one of the Environmental and Social Responsibility programs to the community as part of the company's stakeholders," said Agung.
It is known that an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 in West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra which occurred on Friday (25/2/2022) in the morning caused damage and claimed lives.
The earthquake, which was centered at 0.14 degrees north latitude and 99.94 degrees east longitude at a depth of 10 kilometers, was also felt in Pasaman, Lima Puluh Kota and Agam districts.
The award received by Surveyor Indonesia was assessed based on a transformative strategy in building a business ecosystem at Surveyor Indonesia.

This third annual event was organized through a collaboration between PT Surveyor Indonesia and the Association of Indonesian Municipalities (APEKSI) under the supervision of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
