Collaboration between PT Surveyor Indonesia and APEKSI Holds I-SIM Socialization

PT Surveyor Indonesia together with APEKSI held a Virtual Road Show Socialization of I-SIM for Cities to city governments in Indonesia which was coordinated by 6 Regional Commissions (Komwil). This socialization activity is one of a series of I-SIM for Cities Programs. This socialization aims to provide understanding to all city governments regarding the timeline of the I-SIM for Cities Program from the launching process to awarding which is integrated with the SDGs Annual Conference in early December.

The I-SIM for Cities socialization took place for 3 from 31 August 2022 to 2 September 2022. On the first day, the socialization was attended by Komwil 1, 2, and 5 which was divided into 2 sessions. The first session was attended by 46 participants from Komwil 1, for session 2 it was attended by 45 participants from Komwil 2 and 5. On September 1, 2022, the socialization activity was attended by Komwil 4 with 65 participants and Komwil 6 with 36 participants. Meanwhile, on September 2, 2022, the socialization activity was attended by Komwil 3 with 70 participants.

In this socialization, the city government is also given guidelines for filling out and completing city data in accordance with the I-SIM for Cities indicator. With all the elements involved, each city government is expected to be able to deliver data and innovative actions to achieve the SDGs and be able to increase the city's capacity towards sustainable city standards to compete on an international scale and create a city that is comfortable, safe, resilient and inclusive.
