Watershed Optimization by PT Surveyor Indonesia and PLN UIP Maluku and Papua

Hi SItizen, Optimization of River Watersheds by PT Surveyor Indonesia and PLN UIP Maluku and Papua agreed to make a Watershed Rehabilitation Work Agreement to Fulfill PPKH Obligatory Commitments for the Construction of PLTMG MP Timika (10 MW), PLTMG Timika (40 MW), and SUTT 150 Vk Atas Name of TP PLN (Persero) Area 86.5 Ha.

This watershed rehabilitation planting activity will later have an intensive planting pattern of 1100 stems/ha with preparation of seed needs carried out by the process of procuring and/or making seedbeds in or around the activity location. The types of seeds to be planted include: acacia, cypress, ironwood, trembesi, sowang, avocado, durian, rambutan, cashew nuts. The type of seedling is based on the results of an initial inventory of stands and the results of community aspirations collected in outreach activities carried out in the village which were attended by the village head, village community leaders and farmer/community groups who have cultivated the planting location.

The agreement implemented on 02 May 2024 was officially signed by the Commercial Director of PT Surveyor Indonesia, Saifuddin Wijaya and the PLT General Manager of TP PLN (Persero) Maluku and Papua Main Development Unit, Wisnu Kuntjoro Adi.
