Surveyor Indonesia and Kitong Bisa Foundation Fight Malnutrition in Papua
PT Surveyor Indonesia synergizes with the Kitong Bisa Foundation (KBF) through the Food Security Program for Papuan people in three Kitong Bisa Learning Centers (KBLC). It is planned that the program will be expanded to ten KBLCs with a total of 300 students involved in it.
Director of Finance and Risk Management of PT Surveyor Indonesia, Rosmanidar Zulkifli said this program was simultaneously implemented at the Timika KBLC, Sorong KBLC, and Yapen KBLC, from January 24 to February 6, 2023. "The food security program is the best intervention in Papua, we are proud to be able to work with Kitong Bisa in this food security and supplementary feeding program. The hope is that it can be of great benefit to the community and can overcome malnutrition," he said.
KBLC students, generally aged 6-14 years, will participate in a series of activities. Among other things: the practice of planting seeds at KBLC, providing food to learning residents with the concept of Fill My Plate from the Ministry of Health, education regarding child nutrition, and the practice of weighing children at KBLC.
