President Director of Surveyor Indonesia, M. Haris Witjaksono Gives Presentation at the B20 Investment Forum in Bali

The President Director of Surveyor Indonesia, M. Haris Witjaksono, was one of the speakers in the high-level panel B20, Regional Progress on Sustainable Business & Investment: Commodities Sector, on 11 November 2022 at the Nusa Dua Convention Center, Bali.

On this occasion, the Indonesian Surveyor conveyed an insight into the Sustainable Jurisdictions Indicators that have been developed by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas based on national regulations and policies, referring to international commitments and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (TPB/SDGs) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC).

Sustainable Jurisdictions Indicators are useful as a tool in measuring commitment and progress towards sustainability at the regional jurisdiction level, providing data in the decision-making process for the government in the commodity value chain, as well as reviewing incentive support policies, both fiscal and non-fiscal for regions that have better performance good than average.

In the presentation session, technical details on how to work and guidelines for using the Sustainable Jurisdictions Indicators platform can be accessed, as a bridge for communication and integration of multi-stakeholders (government, development partners, private sector, market players, and stakeholders) in viewing the achievement of 23 indicators of sustainable jurisdictional data and innovations that have been carried out in the region.
